Potatoes

The Fentons

In deepest Perthshire, Dad Graham and sons William and Graham Jnr are part of our family of growers and have been working with Albert Bartlett for a whopping 30 years, which shows that they really get what we’re all about and their commitment to the highest quality matches ours.

HOW THEY ARE GROWN

At last, a reason to celebrate the Scottish climate! It brings out the best in our rich soil, and makes it perfect for growing our perfect potatoes. And these beauties are in no rush. It takes a whopping 200 days of careful cultivation to go from planting our tatties to harvesting them. Tatt seems a long time….but tattily worth it.

SEASONALITY

The potatoes are planted in late March and April and harvested in August and September.

FUN FACT FROM SCOTTY

Not content with producing award winning tatties, Graham Snr hands out awards in his role as a judge at the Royal Highland Show.
