These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials for the Scotty Brand campaign (the “Promotion”).
The campaign will consist of customers nominating themselves or someone they know to be crowned Scotland’s ‘Soup-er Gran or Grandpa’, including an image of the individual they nominate, their full name and age, where they live in Scotland and a short statement – 80 words max – explaining why that person’s soup-making prowess makes them eligible for the accolade (eg is one of their signature soups a family favourite).
The winner will receive a luxury two-night stay for four people in a premium yurt at Kelburn Castle, Largs, Ayrshire. NB food is not included in the prize. All entries will be put into a random select draw so that one winner is selected. Multiple entries will not be counted.
Please note that the winner will be required to participate in publicity and marketing for Scotty Brand and in media coverage. They will also be asked to contribute soup recipes for publication on www.scottybrand.com and Scotty Brand social media channels, as well as in the media, if applicable, during National Soup Month in January 2023.

Eligibility: This rewards campaign is open to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland) aged 18+ excluding employees of the Promoter and the Administrator and their respective affiliates or agents, the immediate families of such employees and any other person connected with this promotion (“Participants”). Any additional costs which may be incurred in this promotion in the context of participation, such as internet costs, postage, and other additional services that go beyond the described activity are not included in the offer and must be paid by participants separately.
Mandatories:
Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the promotion or is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any rewards(s) awarded will be void. The Promoter and Administrator reserve the right to investigate and undertake all such action, as is reasonable, to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid entries including, without limitation, to require participants to provide further verification.
Administrator reserves the right to reject those claims which it considers, in its absolute discretion, are fraudulent, invalid or where a participant has gained an unfair advantage. If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries/claims. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
These Terms and Conditions and any question concerning the legal interpretation of these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction unless you live in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
The Promoter and Administrator will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose. “The Administrator” is responsible for fulfilling the offer. Any data captured in the fulfilment of the promotion by the Promoter will only be used for validation of claims and for the fulfilment unless we have your consent.
