As the long winter nights and cold temperatures set in, there is a longing for the nostalgic taste of comforting meals made and served up by loved ones. For many people across Scotland, the season will conjure up memories of the hot, soothing bowls of homemade soup often provided by grannies and grandpas. We want to hear all about your Soup-er Gran or Grandpa and what makes them so special. On the form below tell us about your nominated person, maybe it is a special family recipe they have, or they have a constant stock of home-made soup in the fridge ready to go! The stylish yurt is very spacious with a super king bed and a double sofa bed. It is powered with electricity and features a mini fridge, heater, fan, lamps, and USB chargers. It even has its own wood burner inside, and an outdoor fire pit – great for toasting marshmallows or keeping you warm as you star gaze!
The Estate is well known for its stunning Kelburn Castle first built in 1143 and now famous for its vibrant graffiti exterior. The vast estate in Fairlie, Ayrshire also contains secret forests, trail and walks, glens and gardens featuring many unusual trees and the 1,000-year-old yews and Weeping Larch recognised by the Forestry Commission as two of the 100 most important heritage trees in Scotland.
