1. This promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding anyone professionally connected to this promotion (including family members such as parents, siblings, spouse and life partners).
  2. No purchase necessary; however, internet access is required.
  3. Promotional period: enter between 09:00 BST on the 18th November and 23.59 BST on the 6th January inclusive.

To enter, simply upload an image of your favourite soup dish along with a short sentimental description of why it’s important to you, to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #sentimentalsoup and tag Scotty Brand – Instagram: @scotty__brand, Twitter: @Scotty__Brand, Facebook: @scottybrandltd.
  5. Entry will only be accepted via the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
  6. Maximum of 1 entry per person during the promotional period.
  7. The prizes:
    • 2 x Masterclass places in The Cook School by Ballintaggart Farm at Ballintaggart Farm Perthshire for a seasonal class. This includes an overnight stay for 2, with breakfast at The Grandtully Hotel by Ballintaggart.
    • Runners up prizes 2 x Morphy Richards Stainless Steel Soup Maker (Model: 48822, Dimensions: 16.5 x 13.5 x 32 cm, Power: 1000 watts).
  8. Further prize details & conditions:
    • Winners will have 12 months from winner notification to take the prize.
    • All dates are subject to availability.
    • Date Restrictions: excludes Christmas & New Year.
    • Travel allowance up to the value of £200 will be provided to the winner upon confirmation of travel plans provided by the prize winner.
    • If a booking is cancelled by the winner, no alternative will be issued and for the avoidance of doubt, no compensation and/or refund will be provided.
    • Insurance is not provided as part of the Prize. It will be the winner’s and their guest’s responsibility to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to be taken.
  9. Winner selection: from all entries received and verified by Promoter, a shortlist of ten entrants will be selected and then judged by a panel of two Scotty Brand employees and an executive chef from Ballintaggart within seven days of the promotion closing.
    • Entrants will be judged on the soup image uploaded and sentimental description.
  10. Winner notification: Winners will be contacted by DM on the relevant social media platform in which they entered, within 14 days of the closing date of the promotion.
    • In the event the winner does not respond to the initial contact within 14 days, the promotor reserves the right to disqualify that winner. If a winner is disqualified, the promotor reserves the right to award the prize to a reserve selected in the same manner. Reserve winners may have less time to respond.
  11. The prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or for any other from of compensation. If for any reason the prize is not available, the promotor will substitute another prize for it of equal or higher value.
  12. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including where there is infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.
  13. The Promoter and any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude our liability for death or personal injury as a result of our negligence.
  14. Any entry must be made directly by the person entering the Promotion. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted.
  15. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
  16. The winner agrees to allow the Promoter to use their surname and county of residence to announce the winner of the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the surname and county of residence of the winner. The winner may object to their surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by contacting the promoter at info@albertbartlett.com.
  17. Subject to the consent of the winners, the surname and county of residence of the winners can be obtained by emailing info@scottybrand.co.uk for 4 weeks following the close of the Promotion.
  18. The Promoter may request that the winners participate in reasonable publicity related to this Promotion.
  19. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions.
